Standing seam vs. exposed fastener
Standing seam hides the fasteners under the seam, so there is no gasket sitting in the weather and the panels can move as they heat and cool. Exposed-fastener panel costs less per square and installs faster, which makes it the right call on a lot of shops and outbuildings. We price both and tell you the honest trade-off.
Over decking, not just purlins
On residential re-roofs we install over solid decking with underlayment underneath so you get a secondary water barrier, quieter panels, and less condensation in the attic.
